Hello there!
I’m Terri (she/her). I’m a friendly, curious Northerner who loves to be inspired by life’s little vignettes. It could be a fleeting glance between two people, a cheeky giggle that sneaks up when you least expect it, or the quirky stories that naturally unfold as we get to know each other better. I show up fully present, with gentle humour, a calm hand and a real interest in the people I’m with.
I’ve always loved writing too. As a journalist and all-round communications buff in the arts and charity sectors, I’ve spent years helping people shape their stories and share them in ways that feel meaningful.
Being a celebrant taps into that same energy… that sense of being “in the flow,” completely absorbed in crafting moments that feel alive, heartfelt and entirely personal. Whether it’s a wedding, vow renewal, naming day or another life milestone, every ceremony is a story I get to help tell, guided by you.
I’m proudly and fiercely inclusive. Whoever you are, whoever you love, and however you want to celebrate, I’ll work with you to create something genuinely personal. I don’t do templates or copy ‘n’ paste jobs. I create celebrations that are bespoke, beautiful and uplifting.
When I’m not creating ceremonies, you’ll usually find me exploring the North East countryside or coastline with my husband and our dog, singing with my choir, mooching around my local charity shops, volunteering for causes I care about, visiting galleries, or soaking up music festivals (fun fact: I got engaged at Glastonbury!). I also love anything colourful, creative, or full of soul — which often inspires the ceremonies I help people craft.
